Whatcha Reading?
I thought it would be interesting to know what people were reading and if the book is worth passing on. When we are not being inspired by a friend, pastor or the like we may be reading a good book. A book is often a free pass into seeing someones soul. What cant always be said can often be written.

My word. What a hodgepodge of books.
Well I'm not doing a whole lot of reading right now too many projects.
I have been reading Mega Shift By James Rutz here and there. It's one of those books you can pick up every so often and get something from. The other book I am trying to read is The Beloved Land BY Janette Oak and T. Davis Bunn. Tirzah want to read it and I want to make sure *I'm* ready for her to read this book. I haven’t been able to get to it yet however.
So there you have it.
BTW Happy Birthday!!
I am reading the Sepher Yetzira, (a translation by Aryeh Kaplan)
Six Thinking Hats - Edward de Bono
The Paradox of Choice, Why More is Less - Barry Schwartz
Divine Proportion - Phi In Art, Nature and Science - Priya Hemenway
Way of the Ascetics - Tito Colliander
The Elements of the Qabalah - Will Parfitt
7 Kinds of Smart - Thomas Armstrong, PH.D.
and lastly -
Why You Say It - Webb Garrison.
I'm just reading two books at present.
Beyond the Sacred Page/a novel by Jack Cavanaugh
If you enjoy historical fiction, this is really a great read.
The Lion the Witch & the Wardrobe... I've never read it before. ( I'm actually reading them in the order that the author intended. I started with The Magician's Nephew)
Blake, I am reading
Woman first, Family Always by Kathryn Sansone: She is the mother of 10, lives in St. Louis, and is very inspiring. She looks like a model, takes good care of herself and her kids, and offers tips to all the rest of us.
The Joy Diet, by Martha Beck: Martha appears regularly in the pages of O magazine and is a brilliant life coach. I really enjoyed her autobiographical book Expecting Adam and this book I have on Audio.
Eragon, by Christopher Paolini. I am reading this to preview it for Reuben. Make sure it is ok for his tender mind.
Light From Heaven by Jan Karon. Listen up, if you haven't read any of these books from the Mitford series, you are missing out on a treasure. Highly recommend. A true mixture of drama and comedy and life in a beautiful journey.
A Million Little Pieces by James Frey. Not for the weak at heart. A life changing book. A book that gave me hope beyond hope for people we consider forever lost. A brilliantly written memoir, lots of swearing (the F word is used no less than 300 times, I would guess), real life stuff. Not for anyone 17 and younger...for sure...unless they are into drugs and need a wake up call. I cried at the end of this book....It shook me to my core and I am greatful I had a chance to read it.
And the kids and I are reading a whole passel of good ones. Check out my blog on homeschool to see! www.amblesidewiththe5rs.blogspot.com
